Celebrate National Guacamole Day at Rocco's Tacos

Fresh tableside guacamole in a molcajete with Rocco's chips and salsa roja at Rocco's Tacos

Thursday, September 16, 2027

It's time for National Guacamole Day, and there's only one way to do it right: the guac everyone comes for, made fresh tableside. Add your favorite toppings and dig into the ultimate Rocco's ritual.

This year the celebration is happening at every Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar — all 11 locations across Florida, New York, and Massachusetts. No tickets, no class, no catch. Just pull up a chair on Thursday, September 16, and order the dish that made Rocco's famous.

The Rocco's Ritual

Plenty of restaurants serve guacamole. Rocco's makes it in front of you.

Our Famous Tableside Guacamole isn't scooped from a container in the back. It's prepared fresh at your table, in a molcajete, and served with Rocco's chips while it's still cool from the avocado. You watch it come together, you call the shots on how you want it, and the first chip goes in before the conversation even gets going.

That's why it's the first thing regulars order and the reason first-timers come back. National Guacamole Day is just the excuse.

Add Your Toppings

The guac is the start. The add-ons make it yours, straight from our menu:

  • Carrots, Cucumbers & Peppers — fresh-cut veggies for dipping alongside the chips
  • Chipotle Glazed Pork Belly — smoky, rich, and the one to order if you're sharing with a table that means business

Order one for the table or one for yourself. We won't judge.

Guac on the Menu

If one molcajete isn't enough, guacamole runs through the whole Rocco's menu. It tops the Nachos alongside Austin queso and chile de árbol salsa. It finishes the Burrito Bowl, the Chopped Mexican Cobb, and the Ensalada de Taco. And every sizzling Molcajete and order of Fajitas lands on the table with guacamole, pico de gallo, and queso fresco on the side.

Guacamole Day at Rocco's can be an appetizer or a theme. Your call.

Make It a Night

Rocco's is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, so National Guacamole Day works for a long lunch, an after-work bite, or a full night out. Pair your guac with a margarita, pick from more than 150 tequilas at the bar, and stick around — Thursday is a good night to bring the whole crew.
